Martijn Laguna is the founder of the Provisory Group. He is a highly skilled Advisor and Coach and has over 25 years experience in business building, strategy development and business improvement.

Martijn has started green field operations and led established businesses, driving growth and profitability. He has worked for start-ups, large listed companies and privately held organisations across Australia and Europe, in managing director, consulting and coaching roles.

Having worked for businesses ranging from small to large, he carries the hands-on experience to provide business owners with the best of both worlds to assist them in achieving their goals in a practical and sustainable way. 

Martijn’s passion is supporting business owners to build scalable businesses and accelerate profitable growth. He believes that “focus” and “knowing your numbers” form the base of every successful business. 

In addition, Martijn very much values the alignment of the personal ambitions of the entrepreneur with the goals and direction of their business. Are they in sync or are they working against each other? The positive alignment of these two is the foundation of all his advisory relationships and will be a high priority at the start of the engagement.

Martijn has a wealth of knowledge in the key areas that make a difference in any business, including finance, change management, team building, sales, marketing, digital disruption and transition, new business development, innovation, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, technology, strategic planning and execution. 

Martijn is a Certified Coach from the Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership (IECL), holds a Masters degree in Economics & Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). 

During his spare time, Martijn enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, travelling, hiking and in general enjoying the outdoors.
